Just make that line "Farmer's are worried that the current regulatory climate will mean they will be unable to compete against countries taking advantage of GM crops." and the rest of the article is fine. Clearly it isn't a level playing field but europe CHOOSES not to grow most GE crops and place restrictions on their imports.
