We all remember what happened the last time Biofortified entered a voting contest, so when I was reminded about the Bloggers Choice Awards for 2010 by PZ Myers (who was entered into several categories himself), I thought we could give it a shot in the Best Food Blog and Best Blog Design categories. Karl is a Ph.D. Candidate in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics at UW-Madison. In addition to his research on the genetics of sweet corn, he is also studying science communication and is working on several media projects about plant breeding. His favorite produce might just be squash. 
Eh, I voted, but something about that site makes me think the whole thing is bs. I do wish they had at least one science category.
